Sanjay and Tap dedication

My favorite memory from each player:

Sanjay: Against Purdue when he was just a redshirt frosh. The game goes to double-overtime, and both Olah and Cerina foul out. 6-6 redshirt frosh Lumpkin gets put on their 7-foot stud center (his name escapes me). Sanjay plays inspired ball, coming up with a crucial steal while defending the post late in the game, and we win. That game typlified the type of nitty-gritty player he was and would further develop even more into.

Just a random thought about Taphorn. He was not the best defender playing SF but could he have defended as a PF. He certainly would have been the stretch PF everyone was looking for, drawing a bigger defender from the rim,opening the lane for penetration

He really looked like he was our second tallest player and had bulked up pretty well , maybe he could have been a decent rebounder and defender as a PF
