cal always prided his teams on being tough and defensive oriented. at their best, there’s at least 6 teams better at it than ark in this league. he’s not even good at executing it anymore. he tried to go offensive oriented his last years at kentucky and that didn’t work. now he’s going back to 15 years ago and it’s not working either. he needs 5 nba players to get 20 wins, just to get bounced in the the first weekend. yeah, if he gets a bunch of studs there will be nights where they can beat anyone, but they can’t string wins together. his system is dead.

Texas A&M is having a really good eyar, indeed. Another nice win we had, and they didn't have Wade for that game. Noted.

Wade Taylor free throws put them up 10
69 - 61 final
Texas A& M (19-5) beats Arkansas (15-9) and Calipari ... hmmmm....

well. They've been more competitive, but this one is getting out of hand. A&M is goooood. Still enjoying that win Hog fans, over Kentucky ?

Looks like Arkansas can get four more victories if they can beat Missouri at home and Mississippi State. They ain't winning at Auburn. Go to South Carolina and Vandy. Host Texas.

Still a 3rd of the conference slate to go but auburn, alabama, a and m and Florida looking good for double byes.
They have really had strong years this particular year. I thought the two best conference games all season long was the florida and bama games in Rupp. Florida and Tennessee was epic. Vandy has been back to its old memorial magic.

Auburn has had a tremendous year. To me, that team is the overall #1 seed team. Alabama is right there. Give dUKe a ! seed, by default. But Florida is also number one good too. At this point, I don't see how you dont have those 4 as the teams looking strongest this year.

I still think Florida is going to tie with Auburn and be co-reg season champs and get the #1 sec tournament seed over Auburn. Bama a 3 seed. The SEC tournament is going to be crazy great this year.

Florida looks as good as Auburn or better to me. It comes down to the three guards and personally, they are a handful. We looked great beating those guys. Just keep us away from Florida again. I said they weren't gonna lose much this year. I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THAT.

17 TO for the Hogs. Z only 5 FGA. Davis 3-13 FGA.
Must be nice to be game planning for a team with a unicorn offensive player like Z and not have to worry about him because his own coach is going to take him out of the game.

the only problem with that is :

I don't see them beating Vandy at Vandy.
I don't see them beating Missouri
and not beating Mississippi State either , and those are at bud walton
they could beat Texas and win at South Carolina... will they ?
They arent beating Auburn at Auburn this year.

Arkansas 17-13 heading into the SEC tournament ?

anyone else think the pressure, for just this one game, is on alabama? being billed the biggest regular season game in sec history. everyone’s there, number one ranking on the line, possibly the number one overall seed, possibly an sec championship.

Vandy loses 76 - karmic payback for court storming in miserable gym - UT wins 81 ( lanier does what he is paid to do, Ziggy makes a comeback)

I get it now !

NO dominant team

yes, I do. I do think the "pressure" is on Alabama. And I think Alabama is going too lose. But that's JMHO.

We shall see. It should be entertaining to see who comes out on top - this time. they get the last game there, so, interesting this one !

am tempted to place a bet. it’d be small.

they very well could play 3 times before the tourney. this is one of those series where you figure the loser will be more fired up and get further in the tourney. should be interesting tv the next few weeks.

houston would be a matchup nightmare right now. we’d have trouble getting past half court. here’s hoping we have a healthy pg in march.

houston had the clamps on them, 57-50 with around 3 minutes left, but now it’s 57-56 with over a minute left.
