Tho TBF...........they were playing against an outstanding offense.St. John's does not look like a typical Pitino defense.
Frankly, I think both Alabama and SJ looked great. Both will be tough outs.Alabama gonna give us fits again? Asking as I didn’t get to watch? How do they look?
Yup they are just a dreadful shooting team. If msu gets just a little hot they should run away with this.Feels like Izzo hasn't had a 3pt shooter in like 5 years.
I think they have had the same type of team forever. No shooting, a few talented freshman, and a big upperclassman white guy.Yup they are just a dreadful shooting team. If msu gets just a little hot they should run away with this.
Kid is a beast, I’m shocked he didn’t go pro.Philon looks quick.
I don't like it that Cal team suddenly can shoot again when against usHogs down against Spartans, second half. Both teams looks pretty raw, as we're only two games into the season, and Arkansas looks athletic, big, talented, everything you'd expect from a Cal team. Maybe a little ahead of his curve, which I think would make Hogs fans a bit relieved. They're playing in a hostile environment and doing pretty well. down 53 - 50, 11:20 to go. That said ... (make it Sparty 55 ...)
they are still losing.
Bama beat st. John's in New York
dUKe won
Vols won
Houston won
zags are lateras well as BYU
always nice to catch a sneak peek at upcoming opponents early in the season.
Typical perfect Calipari team. Talented, long, athletic, and they defend great. But they clog the lane, and can’t hit an outside shot to save their lives. Same old, they are really good but the same mistakes doom them every single time under him. If they make shots you won’t beat them. If you keep them out of the lane and they are cold you will win.39-36 arkansas at the half. Arkansas looks the better team but I never trust Cal in these big ooc games.
Sure, but that was also in large part due to bad defense. It was bad on both sides, which is why they scored a combined 199 points, but Pitino teams are usually far more disciplined on defense. It was just a bit shocking to see Bama players driving and scoring at will on St. John's, and Pitino seemed relatively calm about it.Tho TBF...........they were playing against an outstanding offense.
YA. I would've preferred that, myselfKid is a beast, I’m shocked he didn’t go pro.
If MSU or Arkansas could shoot either one would be up 12 about now.MSU up on Arkansas 65-58 with 5 minutes to go. GOOD!
MSU scored a whole 2 points the last 4 minutes. Acuff makes a bad freshman mistake, but somehow it wasn’t a 3.MSU up on Arkansas 65-58 with 5 minutes to go. GOOD!
Fears was a great player, I thought it was neat he was his teacher. Of course he was going to follow him. His brother isn’t close to his level at least yet. Typical end of game for Cal. Players look lost, miss a 3, rebound and then turnover. But State Bails them out with missed FT’s…. nobody wants this game.Jeremy Fears has a long way to go for that one poster on here to be obsessed with him like he was his brother
Masterful OOB call by Calipari there. Get it to Brazile but don’t even screen and hope he makes a 32 footer over a dude.Sparty 1-14 3pt FGA
OOB plays are CCC specialty.Masterful OOB call by Calipari there. Get it to Brazile but don’t even screen and hope he makes a 32 footer over a dude.
Jeremiah was next level. I have a hard time seeing Jeremy get there, but I could see him having a great college career.Fears was a great player, I thought it was neat he was his teacher. Yup he just never wins these type of games. His style of play makes for a slim margin of error. He is sort of the stoops of college bball now.Typical Cal game, grind it out, score in the 60's and lose.
