Bama is not "new blood" lol ... just another FB school with dreams
Duke 1st in offensive efficiency and 5th in defensive efficiency.

Duke's defense is also been phenomenal all night long. They've had an incredibly small number of quality, open shots and when they do get them they're not in rhythm at all because of all the other forced shots.
It took Duke for Sears to get the whistle we all thought he should have got.
I respect the heck out of Oates but he hasn’t coached a good game. Alabama at least had a puncher’s chance taking the deep threes.
That feels like it’s become an epidemic across the sport the last couple of years. Every now and then they’ll call one if the defender really sells it, but you see game after game of guys just bulldozing their way to the basket with the off arm. Half the time, they seem to get free throws out of it if anything.

I never cheer for Duke…but I’m not sad Alabama is about to lose. A bunch of self-entitled brats led by Sears. My least favorite SEC school behind Tennessee.
Only Duke player they call fouls on is Foster and he ain’t worth a ****, and they know it doesn’t hurt Duke.

Everyone saying Bama has gone cold and is playing poorly on offense, but Duke is forcing them to do that. Duke's defense has been incredible tonight. Bama has had no clue what to do on offense for the vast majority of the game.
They are actually longer …. They don’t have a player under 6’5. We had Tyler Ullis.
It’s a shame Duke didn’t play a tougher schedule so they would be battle tested playing in that weak ACC had killed them
Duke has played elite defense tonight. Guess them being top 5 in kenpom in defense wasn’t a fluke.
auburn is the better matchup imo. they have the front court to keep dook honest on the perimeter. houston is more athletic and quick, but look what quickness did vs duke’s size. nothing. the same thing happened to bama vs uconn a couple years ago.
Everyone here always likes to discount Kenpom ratings, but they are often incredibly accurate compared to performance on the court. The 8 top Kenpom teams pre-tournament were the 8 that made the Elite 8.
