Abe Assad loses to a HS kid, which is interesting development at Iowa. Shane Griffith beats Travis Whitlake 4-0. Griffith continues to perform well against top competitors. Having Cenzo around has to help.

And The Bull beat teammate Kennedy 3-2 with a late chest lock takedown on the edge very late in the 3rd. Surprised that Brands wanted them to wrestle.

Small note: I think AM broke a 1-1 tie with the TD2, then gave the escape (just in case people thought he was behind).

In addition to Griffith handling Wittlake, OKST handled Stanford pretty handily, with WWE star Ferrari humbling Stanford's 97 pounder who for some reason thought it was smart to talk smack to AJ.

The 2nd most interesting match in that dual (after 165) was Abas majoring Gfeller.

KInda slow weekend. Pitt beat Edinboro 28-20, came down to a pin at HWT, but Bonaccorsi didn't wrestle and his backup got teched by Mulligan.

After Assad, worst weekend had to be Jackson Turley (Rutgers 174 All-American), went 0-2 against 2 guys who had previously never beaten a national qualifier.

Abas is pretty darn good, right? I don't know much about him. A threat at 49?
