AD Greg Byrne is now in that revolving door of changing coaches which could run the program into the ground. That makes another minority coach getting canned (three so far). I'm shocked the Black Coaches Association hasn't ripped into Kansas State for hiring Bill Snyder without so much as interviewing a minority candidate.
And we do not interview, consider, or higher a minority. Are we going to receive some flak for that since we made the first move in the SEC to hire a minority coach? Because we were the first to hire an african american head coach do we now have to continue to keep the peace with the media and the BCA by openly interviewing a minority every time instead of jumping straight for the coach we want?

we had the longest tenured AA coach. If the new coach is AA great. I just want the best choice for MSU regardless of color creed sex national origin or religion.

With that said, I think it's ridiculous that it's almost required to interview a minority candidate. I want to interview the best candidates, and hire the single best candidate, regardless of color.

I'm not going to hire, nor rule out, any candidate based on his skin color. That's the way it should be, in my opinion.

Ya know what? <17> the BCA. What good does their "report card" do anyway?

Does anyone know what any other schools "grades" are with minority hiring? NO. Because NO ONE cares.

We need to focus on hiring the best coach possible. And I don't care what the media or the BCA think about it.
