Schedule bummer

I noticed that NU doesn’t have a single weekend home game in February and, it appears, only had three weekend home games on the conference schedule this season. One of those, of course, was the first weekend of the new year, so all students were forced to quarantine and could not attend.

There’s so much to worry about in building the schedule, but that seems like something that should figure into the planning.

NU gets great weekend student crowds - they were just awesome Saturday. (Realistically, 10% of the undergrad population?) I wish they had more opportunities.

Maybe if they didn’t study so much. Nerds.

Yeah the schedule did us no favors by not getting us weekend home games. A weekday night game is pretty hard on students, as making that trek over to WR arena is not as simple as having a stadium right on campus. I lived on south campus and it was a pain, either walking (last option), shuttle, or the El. I applaud any students who show up on a weeknight.
