...I do not think, other than scheduling difficulty, it has any effect on duals previously agreed upon. The conference schedule is the conference schedule. I have not compared conference dual teams with those selected for National Duals, yet.......best to all...............rs

...does not Flo televise the rest of the matches away from home? Also most of the ones from home? It seems like I watched all last year either in person or on TV, but my age creates wander/wonder. I would write such down, but I cannot keep up with the papers.............best to all..........rs

We had a deal with Flo, we no longer do.

DT is working that angle with OSU Max I believe? I don’t think it’s a live situation currently, but it’s a replay deal.

...why not re-work showing live with Flo?...the view should be more of interest this year compared to last year which was an unknown due to new administrations......especially closer to Olympics, national televisors will seek to show DT's teams routinely in RTC, college, Greco and Freestyle events......the fame flame grows brighter burning in orange............

Well #1, Flo is trash.

#2, Im not sure of the particulars and it wasn’t re-done.

Damn near everything was ESPN plus last year and I had zero issues with it. They covered B12, ACC and EIWA I know. Flo covered CKLV. Mightve been one dual a year that was somewhere and hard to watch the last few seasons. Flo will jump all over any OSU dual that espn isnt covering Im sure. Didnt they cover the Oregon State dual last season?

I really liked ESPN+. The year before (I think), it was on ESPN University, and that sucked

Seems to me the only dual that was somewhat difficult to watch was Little Rock which was on UFC fight pass.
Iowa was on regular Fox Sports. I think Utah Valley and maybe Oregon State were on Flo. I don’t love Flo but they are pretty hard to beat for college wrestling coverage.

Not really too tough to beat for College Wrestling coverage, just the biggest player. Willie and Basch are better, the Wrestling Room on Facebook is better…Flo is just the biggest.

They suck if you ask me.

The problem is that you have to have them to watch everything else that they cover. When you switch it up and go another premium direction it just starts making it to too hard. Alot of people already wont even pay for Flo much less Flo, ESPN+, UFC Fightpass, etc, etc

I find ESPN+'s and BTN's broadcasts better in general, but I don't mind Flo. Money-wise a year's subscription is less than the cost of a hotel night if I were to go to any of the events. I have some preferences that they don't fulfill but that's not a huge hurdle for me to get over and I especially appreciate the athlete-specific replays.

Agreed. Flo's broadcast quality should honestly be a lot better at this point, but if they didn't exist a lot of events wouldn't get broadcast and others would only have semis and finals broadcast.

I have no problem with Flo and for $30.00 / month it fits my budget. I also have ESPN+ with my disney/Hulu subscription. I actually prefer Flo to any of the others and they offer many more wrestling events.

Heads up annual price is $150, 5 months of Flo is $150 (the length of folkstyle season). So if you want access to any summer/fall freestyle, may as well do the annual subscription.

Heres the thing boys. IF Dt is working a deal with OSU Max (I have no earthly idea why) then thats fine but we still need great coverage and LIVE coverage. Someone said something to me about delayed coverage of away duals. IDC how much you hate these other streaming services I for one will lose my ever lovin MF mind if that happens. Could be a bunch of nothing but if it did happen, it will absolutely NOT be a good thing for growing the OSU wrestling fan base.

Hopefully we dont cut off our noses despite our faces with all this. ESPN+ is the way IMO unless we're getting hosed. Its probably the best platform to bring in new fans.

OSU Max will not show duals. It's more like "behind the scenes" content. You can see what they have for wrestling there already: https://osumax.com/cowboys-wrestling

Our current deal with ESPN runs through 2031. Our home duals not picked up for one of ESPN's cable channels will be on ESPN+.

Away duals vs full Big 12 members: WVU, ASU, ISU will also be on ESPN+ or an ESPN cable channel. Away duals vs the ACC will be on ESPN+ or an ESPN cable channel. Away duals vs the Big 10 teams will probably be on the Big 10 Network.

Away duals vs schools not in the P4 (for Football) will mostly be on Flo, but it will depend on the specific media rights deal those schools have.
