very physical team glad we don’t play them this year. I think they suit up Dewey McLain under an alias
Would of been nice to have it be South dakota st as they are a semi consistent ncaa tournament team. South Dakota has been getting better though. Should be a good test regardless
Tech will be a real test and a good measuring stick about where we are. They will be an NCAA tournament team again, an outside chance at Big XII champs depending on how things shake out (but probably #3 behind Kansas and Baylor) and a #4/5 seed in the NCAA tournament. Knowing it's not a true game or even a recorded exhibition, it may be played more like a practice with stoppages for coaching, etc.
South Dakota is no South Dakota State (much like Dan Quayle was no Jack Kennedy). That's a confidence builder as a scrimmage and hopefully reaffirm why we're an AAC team and they're not.

Wish it was in reverse order. A nice tune up scrimmage to see where we stand, before we hit Texas Tech scrimmage, would be better than the reverse order.
