Went to LWC my freshman year, played in their band (1st chair alto sax), moved after freshman year due to gf being pregnant.

I learned a lot from him my only year there. There is a reason why he is the best band director in ky history. Guy knows his stuff really well. Also had him for my Musical Masterworks class. Great guy and teacher. Best of luck!
Btw my bro goes to LWC (twin brother).

Yeah. I thought this was a troll account. After "The Decision" video, I now just feel like a terrible person.

Now I'm basically in the background on edge just hoping Willy or Jason doesn't say something. You know, like you try to do with a 3-year- old when they see someone who doesn't have an arm?

I'm glad to hear you don't think I'm a troll anymore. Thank you. Oh and don't feel bad many people who don't get me at first later on see that I am just a kid who just wants to be successful and live a normal life. So don't be so hard on yourself because I forgive you.

It was at the band banquet for all the band seniors including myself. I was the last to give my speech. I was the only one that sang.

paddock poster ROY maybe, but certainly not for trumpet. he's not in a power conference for trumpet. he's only shining because it's easy to start your freshman year at school where there are few trumpeters (or bandos of any position) good enough to be one-and-done. the AP voters will see that his trumpeting stats are inflated.

trumpetcat, I was going to advise against you going to LWC but after I read about this Widget character knocking up a girl I'm changing my stance. If Tim Allen can get that dude laid, he must be pretty special.

Seriously, trumpetcat, if it means you have less time to post on The Paddock I would go for it.

Pre-med is really kind of a farce. In order to get into medical school you have to take general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and biology...and you will have to be good at those to have a chance on the MCAT...but other than that, your degree or focus of study really doesn't matter. Granted, it makes med school easier if you've already taken some biochem, physiology, anatomy and what not.

Honestly, take some business classes. Have some fun, because its never going to be easier than college if you go that route.

I would have really went for a challenge. Florida A&M not offer ? I mean the Rattlers are a bad *** band. Dancing and jumping around, truly bad ***. You might feel like a duck out fo water, but you would eventually fit in. Goggle Florida A&M Rattlers band. Dude if you really want to be the best, The Rattlers is where its at.

You remember when Steve Urkel was a nerd in Family Matters before becoming "Stephon?" I think that is what will happen to Trumpet once he goes to college. He's going to be called Trumpon Cat and have lots of swag.
