Too Much Pressure—
Democratic leader Senator Chuck Schumer LOST IT TONIGHT and WENT OFF on a Trump supporter at a New York City restaurant.

Schumer started yelling at a former Jimmy Carter official for voting for Trump!

Joseph A. Califano Jr. voted for Donald Trump and not Crooked Hillary for President.
This triggered Schumer to go off in a restaurant.

FOX NEWS reported:
Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., caused a scene at a Manhattan restaurant when he began yelling at a wealthy and well-connected Donald Trump supporter that the POTUS is “a liar.”

Schumer, the top Senate Democrat, lost his cool on Sunday night at Upper East Side restaurant Sette Mezzo, according to witnesses.

He was dining with friends when he encountered Joseph A. Califano Jr. — the former U.S. secretary of health, education and welfare under President Jimmy Carter and domestic policy adviser to President Lyndon B. Johnson — and his wife, Hilary, who were having a quiet dinner.

Onlookers said Schumer was incensed that Hilary — the daughter of William S. Paley, the founder and chairman of CBS — had voted for Trump, even though her husband, Joseph, is a well-known Democrat.

One witness said of the restaurant rant, “They are a highly respected couple, and Schumer made a scene, yelling, ‘She voted for Trump!’ The Califanos left the restaurant, but Schumer followed them outside.” On the sidewalk, Schumer carried on with his fantastical filibuster: “ ‘How could you vote for Trump? He’s a liar!’ He kept repeating, ‘He’s a liar!’ ”

The Califanos are elderly, he is 85. Too bad he wan't a bit younger and put the smug, self righteous *** on his ***.

I don't know of any U.S. GOP Senator that has accosted an 85 year old man and his wife in a public restaurant based on how they voted and in such a manner that causes them to leave their dinner and then track them down outside the restaurant to yell and scream so more. Do you?

And remember, Schumer is minority leader of the Senate, a role with some distinction. Embarrassing for all Dems or should be.

Jackassed-ness is a pre-requisite for any Congressional leadership position. Sometimes the individual works/matures his way out of it.....like Boehner (which cost him the Right-wing jackasses around here).....and others like Gingrich and Pelosi and McConnell and Reid who just got worse.

Come to think of it, about the only one I can think of who wasn't a monstrous jackass during his time in office was Hastert......who obviously had his other problems.

I am not disagreeing with your basic premise however this happened at a restaurant well outside of the political center in Washington.
As much as I dislike Pelosi, she would never do this. What would possess him to do this?

My suspicion is that if a trump administration official had done this, it would be all over every news network. Further, my guess is that you will hear none of this on any of those same networks.

Have to agree with the essential truth of this. Very few of those in Congress don't fit this description to a "T".

Bunch of overpaid blowhards...both parties!
