Yeah, in some ways he’s becoming my favorite PSU wrestler ever. And the legend grows
I have a feeling he will find his way on the podium again.Yeah, in some ways he’s becoming my favorite PSU wrestler ever.
I have a bobble head collection in my office that I just need Mitch M to complete. I would be ecstatic if they ever did a Scooter bobble head even if he never comes close to winning a NC. I’ll put him right in between Zain and Bo next to Cenzo.
He reminds me of a kid I coached. Drove me absolutely nuts and then he was the one I missed the most. More memories to come I’m sure hahaYeah, in some ways he’s becoming my favorite PSU wrestler ever.

He definitely needs a new one . This one he's gonna make sure it's fast enough to run from the cops if need beHope he gives up the scooter hobby.
Really? Davis played hero in a scooter posse?I saw the scooter burn news report way before I knew Davis was involved. He must have dragged an already burning scooter out to the snow. Kinda brave. Good job, sorry you burned your hand.
E-bike?Clay needs to get Davis an NIL bicycle deal ASAP.
Came out on fire!No wonder he came out like a ball of fire in that match.
His cousin is our Penn State guy at 133!
So while we were speculating jamming his thumb or wrist, or just plain gassing, maybe he disrupted a healing burn when he landed out of bounds... very painful and took the starch out of him for a while. He started shaking his hand when he was up 7-2 in the second then took the medical TO, and the match really turned at that point. I rewound and rewatched that part about a thousand times to try to figure out what happened. Did he jam his wrist? Dislocate a finger? I did see anything at all, but it seemed to be affecting him because he lost all of the aggression of the first period and the match turned on a dime from there. Now it makes more sense, at least as much as this absurd situation can possibly make any sense.
I agree, good and bad, this dude is a legend. I just wish he would have finished off that match. He could easily be an all-time crowd favorite with a couple results like that would have been.
The best I could come up with from the replay is that maybe he cut his finger on Hardy's headgear since they were taping it up, but that wasn't really a satisfying answer, either. Now we know.So while we were speculating jamming his thumb or wrist, or just plain gassing, maybe he disrupted a healing burn when he landed out of bounds... very painful and took the starch out of him for a while.

Does bring unexpected but fun drama to the table each year. That blindsiding run to a B1G title. Last year’s surprise dual win over Bouzakis and gritty 5th place AA. Turns bad boy in the offseason to scuffle with cops. Gets ticked by Hardy’s double-tap. Of course, the legendary man-vs-machine disagreements with, well, you know.Yeah, in some ways he’s becoming my favorite PSU wrestler ever.
Don't forget his must see interview question responses. The kid is definitely not boring on or off the mat.Does bring unexpected but fun drama to the table each year. Always liked his quirky style, even as it draws him in and out of trouble. On a team of studs, he’s the scrappy, tenacious underdog. May he be underestimated all the way to another AA finish in March.
Funny how nicknames stick too. He will probably be called Scooter for the rest of his life. My grandfather was skinny as a kid and one of his friends called him "Birdlegs" in jest. He was known to everyone as "Birdie" until the day he died! Even the family called him that. I was probably eight when I first heard his real first name when my grandmother was miffed at him, LOL. He even had it on his business cards that way.Scooter, scooter, scooter they shouted as he walked onto the wrestling mat
Came out on fire!
