Credit to Rosman for that, they put up some points on Murphy's defense forcing Murphy's first string offense to stay in the game longer to get the running clock started.
Plus Murphy's 2nd/3rd string offense is better now that the JV's have moved up, Wood probably had 100 yards rushing in mop up duty.

Mic threw a bomb to midfield caught......plus ruffin the passer. Then heavved it to endzone on final play....incomplete......now walking 45min to my car lol
I realize NW isn't very good but with Alleghany being small 1a what are the chances they make some noise in the playoffs?
I can see alleghany making it to 2nd round. If they run into murphy,robbinsville, or mitchell or mic(speed) season is over. If we get tja i say we can maybe big maybe pull out a miracle if control the clock and get a turnover or 2.
Wilkes Central has more speed than all of those teams with the exception of MIC...Alleghany goes 2rds deep. I didn't say WC was a better team than the teams above however.
Just want to say TJ was playing without 2 receivers (including our best receiver), lost a starting OL in 1st quarter, had another starting OL out to start the game, were without our starting kicker after an injury last week, and most, if not all of them, should be back for the playoffs.
It should have been a lot more anti climatic...TJ should have scored to make it a 2 score game there at the end inside MICS 10 yard line, instead of just trying to kneel it out/end the game when MIC still had two timeouts...
