Disgusted by overall effort, schemes, every facet of coaching, in-game adjustments, lack of toughness, multiple missed opportunities, lack of continuity, and crowd enthusiasm only when things are going in our favor. It just sucks when the better team loses. But, hopefully they'll learn and grow from it. When has a two-quarter back system ever freakin' worked? I know it's not a conference game, but damnit. It's still Enka! They had 125 total yards to our 400...

It's Enka, do not sugarcoat it, you aren't nearly as good as expected, you lost, take the crow and move on.
Absolutely agree with you! Not denying that at all. As I literally said in the post, it's still still Enka. Don't know how that's sugar coating at all... I'm 37 years old. It really doesn't bother me that deep! Just nothing better to do tonight
and I always want it more against them, for more personal reasons, you could say. Disappointed with ourselves within, not the competition or the outcome really. Noticed it was your 1st post. But, I think I remember you from old site. Who's your team again?

Not gonna lie, Im a Tuscola guy, yes I was on the other site, but life hit me really hard over the last few years, so just now getting back to a sense of normalcy, Just had to pull your chain over Enka lol.Absolutely agree with you! I thought you were a Tuscola guy and I was wondering why you felt like he was sugarcoating it. He called out every facet of our organization except the teachers serving Chic-fil-a.
It is Enka( and I kept telling myself multiple times at the game), but I will say they were fired up and coached well overall. World beaters, not even close. They are more disciplined than AC Reynolds so I could see Enka, Erwin, and ACR fighting it out for 3rd in that conference. 3rd in the MAC for Enka, that’s basically the same as winning a collegiate national championship.
As for us, we should have abandoned, the stacked I sooner than we did. We did mash one drive down their throat in the 1st only to stall at 2 yard line. Fumbled several snaps ( Enka did also, kicked a bad rushed punt due to punter dropping snap only for it to travel 10-15yds, 6Ft off the ground right to an Enka when we had two guys between him and the end zone, sailed a ball across the middle (which we’ve done a few times this year on that route) straight to their safety for a pick 6. To make this one worse our receiver chose to “protest” the bad ball by quitting his route and throwing his hands up rather than continuing the play. That may have stopped it from being a pick6. Last thing we had to manage our timeouts poorly due to having to correct formations and didn’t have them when we really needed them and our offensive personnel would not get out bounds during 2-minute O to stop the clock. Repeatedly, turned into the field and cost seconds. Learn, learn, learn the little things, and we will.
On a few positive notes, we did all of the things above and still had a shot to win. Should tell you a little about both teams. Also, our new kicker is 1 for 1 on onsides kicks.

Glad everything is getting back to normal for you and glad you're back on here! I would've pulled y'alls chain too over this one. This site needs more of the old posters who are not as soft as everyone is now in general. It's okay to call a spade a spade. Also, now that Goldendomer10 brings it up, my chicken sandwich was a little soggy and underwhelming as well...

They beat our line and we had 84 yards rushing but don’t forget that Enka only had 123 total yards (-3 passing). Almost 40yds of that came on one play that we had wrapped up in the backfield. Enka came out with a level of manufactured enthusiasm that I doubt they replicate all year and that did wear our line out.
To play the way we did and still have a chance to win at the end, pretty much tells you it’s always harder to lose to Enka than it is to beat them.
Hopefully, they created their despicable hype videos for Cherokee and drive all the way to the Rez tomorrow night and egg and TP their stadium and graffiti up the town like they did ours so Cherokee can see the classless act that they are off the football field.
