Too soon KW. Too soon.West Wilkes 23 starmount 20 final. Wonder if that was offensive coordinators fault lol
If #8 is done for the year Murphy won't beat Swain. Murphy's D is good, Robbinsville didnt do anything offensively that wasn't aided by Murphy penalties, but right now the Murphy offense just isn't where it needs to beMurphy isn't world beaters. They lucky to win at home. Murphy at Swain should be a good one week 11.
Throwing the ball up four with less than two minutes did them in. If they just run the ball and punt i doubt West wilkes drives down field to beat them.Actually Starmount had over 300 yards but 3 big turnovers did the Rams in. I give credit to WW for a good game.
That call by the interim OC was way worse than anything Monty called. It's like he purposely gave the game away. That may be the dumbest play call I've seen in yearsThrowing the ball up four with less than two minutes did them in. Don’t understand why people couldn’t just trust Monty and be quiet instead of forcing the guy to resign even though through the years he’s proven how good of a coach he is. Especially leading many successful programsThat call by the interim OC was way worse than anything Monty called. It's like he purposely gave the game away. I was expecting more from Murphy considering what all they had coming back and the hype for this season. Doesn’t look to be on par with past Murphy teams that won it all.Murphy isn't world beaters. They lucky to win at home. Murphy at Swain should be a good one week 11.
Yeah, how dare he not fix the mess in 3 practices.West Wilkes 23 starmount 20 final. Wonder if that was offensive coordinators fault lol
When isn’t that the case (Murphy penalties helping Robbinsville)?? That seems to be a recurring theme anytime those teams play.If #8 is done for the year Murphy won't beat Swain. Murphy's D is good, Robbinsville didnt do anything offensively that wasn't aided by Murphy penalties, but right now the Murphy offense just isn't where it needs to be
Lucky to win?? Murphy penalties throughout the game and spotty play calling on that first drive of the game (Murphy came up empty when they for some reason started throwing the ball after running it down Rvillle’s throat on that drive) kept Robbinsville in it, not to mention that clear as day fumble on the kick return that white hat took away for some reason after Murphy went up 9-7. Also, Murphy played the entire second half without #8 on the field (got hurt on second half kickoff) and still won. Oh, and Murphy’s starting kicker didn’t play at all last night. Don’t think luck had anything to do with Murphy winning. Murphy was actually unlucky last night in a lot of ways.Murphy isn't world beaters. They lucky to win at home. Murphy at Swain should be a good one week 11.
No need to worry about Murphy now. Robbinsville and Murphy won’t see each other again until next season. Different playoff brackets now. Not sure how I feel about that. Not worried about Murphy, Lucas had his kids ready to play. We have to run the ball more, QB play is inconsistent
Ok I’ll keep that in mind. I’ll put it right beside Robbinsville’s 2025 SMC Champs shirt.Well if Robbinsville wins the 1a title, Murphy can get some shirts saying they beat the 1a champ.
Sprained ankleMurphy won but #8 (their best back in my opinion) hurt his knee or ankle opening kickoff 2nd half and is probably done for the year, can't see them coming out of the 2A west without him
Robbinsville would never make shirts if they wasn't Champs. Now if Swain beats Murphy all three have equal claim.Ok I’ll keep that in mind. I’ll put it right beside Robbinsville’s 2025 SMC Champs shirt.
I agree completely. #10 is what he is as a player and when he's asked to simply keep the defense honest, he does an ok job in that role. But the ball was in his hands far too often last night and we all saw the results...When isn’t that the case (Murphy penalties helping Robbinsville)?? That seems to be a recurring theme anytime those teams play.
As for the offense, Murphy just needs to run the dang ball, with the occasional pass to #3 just to keep defenses honest. Too many good backs and too good of an OLine to be airing it out so much.
Not sure what game you were watching! Everybody not pulling for Murphy will most likely tell you different. The call on the slip screen from “the lady” 40 yds away was huge. She talked another ref out of his call, and then not knowing where to spot the ball?? We got a facemask call is pretty much it. And as for your kicker, how many days has he been on the team?? Curious minds would like to know!Lucky to win?? Murphy penalties throughout the game and spotty play calling on that first drive of the game (Murphy came up empty when they for some reason started throwing the ball after running it down Rvillle’s throat on that drive) kept Robbinsville in it, not to mention that clear as day fumble on the kick return that white hat took away for some reason after Murphy went up 9-7.
