Final was 37-14. As one poster said, Owen got a lot of JV guys reps in the 2nd half which was great but made the final look closer than it was.

What I noticed that stood out was weak line play on both sides most obvious was the O-line. Not as big and physical as I've seen in the past. Their QB was running for his life all night and hardly had time to throw the ball. FH also had more speed all over the field which Salisbury usually can match easily. First game also so they will improve. Still some talent there. I wasn't expecting that score. It was also a running clock most of the second half because we scored quick to start the half to go up 42-0.

Line play seems down and out in a lot of places. I think this is going to continue as more and more coaches end their careers and less and less younger guys are there to fill the spots. It’s a shame.

Agree with you , most teams don't even know the basic line fundamentals, kids don't even know basic footwork. Got give mitchell staff credit they know the fundamentals they practice that every day. Most their coaches played college football.
