I thought the Big Ten gets the Music City Bowl this year? It would have to be the Belk Bowl for that to happen, right?
Dumbest post ever....so you would give what #1 Bowl outside of the NYD Six Bowls to play in Nashville again against Kentucky....just beat them in Commonwealth next year. Would rather play in Orlando against LSU, Auburn or Florida on ABC.
The music city has the option of picking both from a ACC or Big Ten opponent vs a locked in SEC team
The thing is they took ACC/ND the last two years...got a feeling they want an Big Ten team which means a ACC School ends up in the Taxslayer/Gator Bowl-(which now is likely Georgia Tech to play Kentucky)
Whats so dumb about it. Bowl doesn't matter much at this point anyway we not in the playoff picture so it's the match up and proximity to it.
Bowl don't like regular season rematches...and it appears right now Tennessee is getting the MCB...Kentucky the Gator Bowl.

Part of our rivalry is owning bragging rights for a year. Wait until Nov 2017 to play the cats again. If we won the Citrus vs Auburn or Florida it would send us into 2017 with some momentum.

Maybe I'm suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, but I think UK has probably earned the right with their win at PJCS to play somebody else.
Give them the year bragging rights...take it back from them next year in Commonwealth...
You sure you want another game with those "kittens" anytime soon? You guys lost that game due to fumbleitis. Quit blaming Quick, you had plenty of other guys out there. Your defensive coordinator is completely one dimensional and resist making alot of in game changes. On the positive side, you still have Jackson, and receivers with NFL speed right now. If we played 10 times you guys would win probably 8 times. Next time, I recommend toning down your athletic director making predictions months ahead of time. A little humility was served to you Saturday. Good luck in your bowl game against whoever you get.
Can't even argue or disagree...right now just want Louisville to regroup and refocus. Win either the Orange Bowl or the Citrus Bowl.
