And there worthless freaking refs. No wins in that cheating worthless arena.
They will fail in the tourney if they make it (like they normally do), when they are forced to play the physical brand of game.
Which is better than our Huskers, who just fail period. McDermott just tea-bagged Miles yet again.

Some might not have seen it but it is clear that the Jays are getting much close to the MVC than they are the Big East. This year they will be lucky to get to 20 wins and happy to say, that is that.

I'm not sure why people are upset that Creighton Basketball fans want to root for Nebraska in other sports. Are we saying we don't want them as Nebraska football fans?

Why does anyone give two ***** who other fans root for? There are UNK, UNO and Nebraska Wesleyan basketball fans who root for NU in football, and nobody whines about that.

I don't give half a crap whether someone loves Creighton or despises Creighton. Just please stop trying to tell me that Tweetin' Timmy's 0-6 record against Creighton and his 0-for-14 record against McDermott is just a crazy string of bad luck, or that nobody in Omaha rooted for Creighton basketball until recently.

I think I can sum up the Jaysker hate issue. I have no problem with Jays fans who also root for the Huskers in other sports. What I find comical is the Huskers took the floor and there were a lot of fans booing the team. I understand it coming from the student section, as Creighton gets a lot of students from other states who have no ties or interest in Nebraska. However, the boos were also coming from fans in the arena. I can't verify that those booing were Nebraska football fans or not, but you have to imagine that there was a percentage of booers who are Husker fans, and were cheering on the Husker Volleyball team when that game ended.

Growing up in Omaha, I was never a CU fan. I found a lot of them to be arrogant. Then they got Altman, and my sons went to his camps, and I met him on a few occasions. I've also met McDermott and some on his staff, and McDermott is a great guy, and he did a really nice thing for me once. So I'll never talk bad about him as a person. At this point I cheer for CU because I have met and like a lot of the people involved in that program.

I've said it before, I want to see all three D1 schools in the state do well in basketball, because more basketball exposure in this state is a good thing. I'll always be a Nebraska first guy (even though I have bashed Miles in the past), but if I go to a game between Nebraska and Creighton at Pinnacle Bank, I won't boo Creighton.

If you are a "Jaysker" and you are among those actively booing Nebraska basketball (but root for Volleyball and Football), and have absolutely no interest in seeing Nebraska do well in basketball, then you are a bandwagon jumper, and pretty much a hypocrite.

Jayskers everywhere spotted taking off their sweatervests to reveal NU volleyball shirts.
Not sure whats wrong with that. I went to undergrad at NU, Grad School at CU. I am a Husker football fan and CU fan in bb, cheer for NU is BB unless they play CU.

Do Husker fans boo Creighton when they play in Lincoln? Honest question. I have never been to a game in Lincoln.

i said to my wife while watching the game from here in manhattan that there must be some internal angst for many in that arena given most probably bleed red during football season. i absolutely loathe ku and could never root for the squawks. but i can see it with a basketball only private school fan going red in the fall, not switching allegiance just changing the laundry.
