Just read some comments of Nike executives to a shareholders' meeting. A lot of space given to the company's tight relationship to China market. Well you can't have such a relationship without having a close relationship with Chinese Communist Party CCP). I suggest that you can't take a crap in China without CCP's okay. I urge the WVU Athletic Department to sever relationship with Nike as soon as possible. Certainly DON'T renew the present contract. Get the lawyers to see if there's a way to break the present one. I know that WVU makes a lot of money from NIKE but company's close relationship with China and thus CCP is reason enough to end that relationship. Other athletic companies will pay us also - maybe not as much but principle has to come to the fore here. Increase ticket prices but get as far away from Nike as soon as possible. I suggest Mountaineer fans who have Nike gear to cover or blot out the swoosh.

Right. I'll ditch my Nike gear when the Trump Organization and Donnie's plastic daughter and son in law divest their Chinese interests and the Chinese patents daddy secured for them.
I'm always amused by all of the Trump sycophants screaming about China when nearly a quarter of his assets are tied up there. China sucks, but unless folks here are willing to pay a lot more for goods or take a long, hard look at which companies their 401K's mutual funds are invested in they need to give it a rest.
