Does anyone know when Pisgah will have a scrimmage for their upcoming season? Also, any thoughts on the Bears for 2022?

According to the schedule at the black Bear Cafe ,August 10 at TC Robertson 6 pm ,and on the 11 at home with team to be decided.

Lots of skill players coming back. If the O-Line and D-Line come together, we could be really good.
Have they decided where your home games are gonna be? Western or another venue
As of now, we are planning to go to the opponents field each week.
Wow, will that not make three years in a row that the rival game has been played in Waynesville?
We last played Tuscola at home in 2021 when they moved the 2020 football games to early 2021. Limited seating, Only parents were allowed to go into that game. Probably less than 500 people in attendance that night.
We will play at CEW on Oct 14, and then again at CEW vs North Henderson on the 28th. PISGAH will be the home team on the 14th. We will run the press box, the gate, the concession stand, and the 50/50. Could be the biggest 50/50 of all time this year. Also the 100th anniversary of Canton HS/PISGAH vs Waynesville HS/THS.

and your point is? Capacity is measured by permanent seats, not by how many can get in and stand by the fences. Upping the capacity, still kept the average fan out of that game.
I know what your point was, and you know what my point was. 100, 500 or 2500, it still left 8000 or more fans out of that game.
If you knew why did you ask me what was my point? I was at that game ,evidently you were not and I knew you was wrong.

I’ve had a rough years fellows. Cancer surgery in May now chemo all the fun stuff. I haven’t heard a lot about SP football this offseason but that’s normal. For some reason I think the coaching staff likes to keep things quiet. I have heard we have a fullback moving up to varsity this year that folks think will be impressive. That’s about all I got.
Man, I hate that! I’ll be praying for you!

Thanks. Great prognosis, I just gotta get through chemo. I wouldn’t wish it on anybody. Good luck Bears, maybe y’all can come down to Belmont this post season.
