The schedule for the “Battle of the Borders” follows:
5 p.m. Fairmont NC vs. Lakeview SC

I will be walking the Red Carpet around 4:00. At that time I will be answering any questions and if anyone wants my signature Mr. Sportsnut, they may approach my presence. After 4:45, It's time to feel the wind pick up as them Tornadoes take off.....

they should move these scrimmages to the turf wake forest field or let East Forsyth host it. If you combined the parkland and west Forsyth scrimmages

maybe he switched jerseys for this season? but if he is playing offense this year then yes that's gonna be a scary site for opposing defenses because we were already stacked in the backfield without him back there and the receivers weren't looking bad either
I understand that he is a new QB, but how about passing? Only saw one GREAT pass(it was good). It was all running, which was working very well but as the game went on, they were trapped in the back field.....STILL ANOTHER GREAT DILLON TEAM. THEY WILL GO FAR THIS YEAR
Parkland jamboree didn't work out, so north and dudley scrimmaged at north. Both teams looked impressive. Maybe we'll have a rubber match in the playoffs this year? Good luck to dudley
I hope Beal does great at Wake. A whole lot of offense in this scrimmage. East scored 7 times and North scored 6 times. East Oline is quite impressive. Joe Butts can flat out throw the football. I think he had like 9 TD passes last night against East and Northeast Guilford and didn't even play the whole time either scrimmage. I hope the RB for East who screamed out in pain toward the end of the scrimmage is okay.

I went to the scrimmage at Mount Tabor yesterday. Reagan and Mount Tabor look a little down this year especially on offense. Northwest Guilford has some good athletes but the offensive line looked suspect. I didn't see any team there to challenge East Forsyth. It was nice to see West Stokes and Carver face off because it will probably come down to that game to decide conference championship.
North needs to get much better on D. It's great to have an offense but defense wins games and special teams win championships
That running back just had surgery according to the parent I talked too this summer and he was medically cleared to play but after his injury last year I personally think he never recovered. He was the east Forsyth 5th or 6th string Rb and I mean this in a sincere but honest way won't impact the east Forsyth squad. I know that sounds bad but just wanted to clairfy he wasn't a starter.
I knew he wasn't a starter but you could hear him scream over the crowd. I felt for the young man and send him best wishes from the Knights. Good Luck to the Eagles this year.
Butts is the best throwing qb in the state and i say that without seeing all the qb's but that kid has an arm but accuracy is what is the most impressive thing about him for a high school qb.
