Only three (3) years older than Mark Pope, I believe Texas just signed an outstanding coach who will do very well in this new NIL$$$ - Portal landscape. He will provide formidable competition to all of the teams in the league and I will be surprised if Texas does not move up in overall status in the SEC.

I agree. Miller learned from his mistakes at AZ and should do very well at TX where the recruiting terrain is quite favorable and money is bottomless.

I totally agree ... the coaches in the SEC are pretty ridiculous.
The conference has committed itself to basketball, in addition to football.
Todd Golden (only 39) has the potential to be pretty special ... we'll see.

Kentucky certainly has money, no question, but we're not up there with those with incredibly deep pockets.
Commitment to basketball, as you suggest, is the real question ... good point !!

I think Texas is a sleeping giant. The Right coach could kill there.. just don't know if it's Miller.

Exactly. Miller might never win a national title but he will make Texas way better than they were. Thats for sure.
