I’m hoping they struck a deal with Kinne, but UCF and West Virginia openings are gonna mess that up, I think.
Why would UCF opening mess with that. Florida St was interested in hiring Brennan, then hired Malzahn.
Because I am pretty sure UCF can outbid TU and word is they’ve reached out to GJ. Marion will be lucky to keep his job at UNLV…too much off the field going on with him.
If they've reached out to GJ that might change things. I'm sure he would like to have Marion as his OC, but we could still offer Marion as a head coach and that might be enough to sway Marion our way. The position of HC might hold more sway than more money as an OC. When you say off the field goings on, are you just talking bout being up for various jobs?

Don't know if what was said was true. If so, it could be a problem for some schools.
Other schools could see it as a green light, if they have no concern about the rules.

I thought that was old news and that Marion wasn't involved with the 'promise', as well as the fact that they had done well with the QB that replaced him. Maybe not.
