We will be lucky to make the tournament with the schedule we have coming up. We will be favored in 2 maybe 3 of our up coming 9 games, assuming we lose tonight we are likely looking at finishing 4-6 ish and a 19-12 finish. Likely a bubble team.

Some of you are still stuck on that team you saw when we were 100% healthy, that team is gone.
Really, not much of a fan are you.

The season definitely isn't over, but I still think the SEC ceiling is 9-9, with 8-10 as not out of the question. Too many tough opponents coming up on the schedule.

LSU looks like a win (that's 6 SEC wins).
Split one of the road games against Texas/OU (7 wins).
Beat Tennessee Tuesday (8).
Beat Vanderbilt at Rupp (9).

Then we lose at Missouri, against Auburn, at Alabama, and drop 1/2 against OU/Texas.

9-9 looks realistic. That nets us a top 5 seed. No shame in that in year #1 of a complete rebuild.

How do you equate that post on a UK message board after getting blown out by Ole Miss to your statement. Just silly.
The SEC is the toughest league in college basketball, and I mean in the last 20 years UK has been injured so losing to Ole Miss is not the end of the season. UK has more quad one wins than any team in the country, has wins over two of the projected number one seeds right now and just needs to pick up a couple more wins, hell there have been teams selected to the NCAA with 18-12 records in the past.

Not "could be" - it will be a step back.

Oweh - starter
Garrison - bench, low IQ
Chandler - bench, not SEC caliber
Perry - bench, may improve, but will always be defensive liability
Noah - bench, disappears
Johnson - starter, likely less productive than Jaxon
Lewis - bench, listed at 6'2", probably 6'1"
Moreno - bench, far from ready

Add 3-4 guys in the portal. If they're not top 50 guys, it looks bleak.
Noah is not gonna disappear.
Effort alone makes him a contributor.

If you think we are not making the tournament, then you don't know basketball. This is a joke. We have way too many quad one wins, and we would have to lose out to not make tournament.

Loss to Ark was all about Wagner and Thiero not Cal or Pope. 2 young men who suffered through disrespect from a fan base during their season here and afterwards when they followed Cal. Then they get to come back into a gym they know well and feel comfortable in to get payback was a great motivator and they showed up. If you were betting man it was easy money.
