Why? He is possibly the reason why there was so much turmoil last year.Glad Dawson landed somewhere.
Does it work that way? just curious because I do not know.Dawson getting a job just saved UK a boatload of buyout money.

Not from the Vandy one yard line... on two separate occasions...I liked his nature of going vertical.
Think that's a guaranteed win now. Westry will enjoy picking balls out of the air as he tries to go 'vertical' on us.
Usually the contracts work out to subtract the new salary from what is owed on the buyout. So whatever USM is paying you can subtract that from what UK owes him.
EXACTLY what to look for.Just saw that, our D should know what to look for.
guess we'd have to see the contract, but I'd think that UK's payment due to Dawson for next season would likely be deducted by whatever S. Miss is paying him
happy he got a job, best of luck to him other than game 1
This could go one of two ways.
First, Dawson could decide to stick to his guns and not throw to the tight end, run the QB/ a true read-option, or run the Wildcat.
Second, Dawson could decide to put a winning-caliber strategy in place which uses all of those facets and we're in trouble.
Apparently he's going after one of our recruits as well according to a premium story (I'm assuming from the headline)

Anyone taking bets on whether he lands him or not? My money is on NO. Kentucky isn't really competitive yet in the SEC but we soon will be, and I don't even know what conference S. Miss plays in, so my guess is he will stick to playing in the best conference in America. If someone steals him away from us, it will not be S. MissMac Jones
So they should get some big plays and the D will wear out and we should run all over them in the 2nd half.
Poor guy is in for a good drumming in week one.
Interesting take...talked to someone the other day VERY close to Neil Brown and was told that MS and NB also had issues about his offensive schemes so maybe this wasn't all SD's fault...hope MS has finally found the guy to run the ball control running offense he thinks he can run in the SEC AT KENTUCKY...guess we shall see...Why? He is possibly the reason why there was so much turmoil last year.
