The idiots toppled a statue using a tow rope and car but it fell on one of them standing just below the statue. Hospital trip, emotional retards.

I honestly don't understand how the GOP can't leverage this nonsense and turn it into 60+ Senate seats over the next 6 years.

The House will be a mess as long as we have all these gerrymandered districts, but I don't see how you honestly have competitive state wide elections in places like Kansas, Iowa, Kentucky, Montana, etc., after seeing that all of these clowns kowtow to Nancy and Chuck (soon to be AOC and some other clown).

I realize the mess that Texas is becoming. CA, NY, WA, etc., are gone. I get it.

But there are 50 total "independent" states and how you can convince people to vote D across the middle of America now that their true colors are on display in the streets, is beyond me.

The following states should never elect another D Senator:

AL
AK
AR
GA
ID
KY
KS
TN
IA
MS
FL
SC
NC
LA
AZ
NV
UT
CO
NH
ME
MT
WY
OH
IN
MO
SD
ND
WI
MN
MI
WV

I know it's wishful thinking, but that is 31 states = 62 Senate seats.

Let’s try not to make this a political thread and keep it about what’s happening with the riots. Otherwise it’ll end up in the political thread where it’s just radical left and right. The political threads swallows too many topics and I’d be willing to bet this topic has been covered from the political angle.

Sadly, everything is political.

Who is in the streets?

What is behind the riots?

What is BLM and what is does stand for?

Who is Antifa, and what does it stand for?

Maybe we can answer all those questions without letting politics in.

Sadly it’s not all political, this started with police brutality. Then there was looting and criminal acts, protests, shootings, statues being torn down, fights, taking over a city hall.

None of which is political and I’m sure it’s been discussed in the political thread so why are you taking it down the political path when you can do that in the appropriate thread?

This thread was pretty clearly political by about 10:00 AM yesterday, with no admonition from the OP that posters needed to get back in line.

I thought I was just following along in the discussion.

And also, I think people underestimate what is political. Sure, there was police brutality, but what happened immediately before it?

A nation-wide lockdown? Who implemented that? The virus itself?

It's a pretty common view that the lockdown contributed to much of the frustration that led to the eruption after the killings.

Protests, tearing down statues, taking over a city hall - are all political. Sorry to burst your bubble.

And again, who is in the streets?

If we are going to pretend that BLM, Antifa, and other groups aren't driving this, then we aren't having an honest discussion.

And who are they? And what are their goals?

I'm happy to leave, and you will be happy to see me go, but the lack of honest discourse helps nothing.

It wasn’t political unless you are hyper political and see every single thing in life through that prism. I could make every thread including the political one about religion. Good vs evil, god vs satan. I could see wickedness in the candy thread if I wanted too. They made a political thread for you, why are you actively trying to divert this down that **** hole?
