For our staff he is. They've talked about moving him to tackle.SMH... Thought recruiting would improve by closing on this class. Good OG prospect, but he's not an OT.
I hope you're right, he must lead the nation in pancakes...Sebastien Dolcine has joined the 2017 class!
I'm happy to get this kid and I trust the coaches' judgement, but I take this as a sign that we probably won't get Thayer Munford (sp?).
go to 32 sec mark.

Have you watched film on him.... I just watched some film on him and he's a lot faster than I thought he would be... He was going against some fast ends and staying right with them... Plus, they can't move back and reverse on him, because he's too strong... Like I said when I watched that film, he has to lead the nation on pancake blocks...SMH... cept he is a 2*A Florida 3*** is as good as any 4**** just about anywhere in the country. :cool2:
The timing if this 1 surprises me a little. Dolcine is a solid player with a Florida background, who can help us. He played at the same high school that produced Alvonte Bell. But it has been pretty clear that Stoops wanted Munford or Hillery. Hillery is currently committed to Miami, and there has always been a danger that Ohio State would offer Munford. So Dolcine is a nice get, but not the elite tackle Stoops wanted. Maybe he can still slip a tackle into the class at the end.Sebastien Dolcine has joined the 2017 class!
What difference does that make? By now, nobody should be questioning Stoops' ability to evaluate offensive linemen. Nick Haynes, Bunchy Stallings, Logan Stenberg were under the radar. Look at them now. Plus, Stoops and Schlarman have also developed Cole Mosier, a walk on.247 rated 3***
Nice to see we have so many qualified couch coaches, I believe Woodyard and Trevathan where 2* recruits also. His film is strong
This surprises me!? He looks like he should be ranked higher. Go Cats!!cept he is a 2*
Best offers are Temple and UCF. Staff must see something noone else does. Theyve done it before.
I was thinking the same thing but maybe when he committed to UCF the rest of the world backed off. Who knows.Best offers are Temple and UCF. Staff must see something noone else does. Theyve done it before.

Agreed...we need to stop pointing to the exceptions and the bigger picture which is law of averages are 2* kids don't turn programs around.Of course, Trevathan and Woodyard never played on a team with a winning record in the SEC, and Trevathan never even played on a team that broke even. You can get lucky with developing a 2* here and there, but if that is your recruiting philosophy in this or any other P5 conference, you will most likely soon be a couch coach, instead of a real coach.

But this is a very important recruit and I think he will contribute. We need all the players we can get out of South Florida especially if they can play in the SEC. We are going against a lot of schools that recruit that area heavy. There is a lot of talent down there.
