I find coference expansion to be a very interesting topic. I believe that the SEC will add 4 teams from the ACC, and it will happen sooner than one might think. The B1G will also add teams from the ACC to get to a 20 team conference. The ACC teams can avoid the exit fee and GOR fee if the conference disolves. It will take 8 teams for that to happen. Currently their are 7 teams that want out of the ACC. The bottom line is that a team like FSU will be at a severe disadvantage competing with teams like UF with half the revenue that UF gets. I believe that with a 20 team league, the SEC will go to a 9 game schedule, and the annual revenue will exceed 90 million per team. The link below is an FSU guy who is very dialed in on all of this.
