Where is Towns? Willie is great and should have won but Towns is the next best defender in the league.

SEC All-Defensive Team
Marcus Thornton, Georgia
Willie Cauley-Stein, Kentucky[/B]
Jordan Mickey, LSU
Josh Richardson, Tennessee
Damian Jones, Vanderbilt

They aren't going to put 2 from the same team on, unless said team was overwhelmingly dominant.............. uh, wait........

Thornton and Jones over Towns? Yeah freakin right. Towns is the leading shot blocker on the best defensive team in the shot clock era and one of the very best in college history.

So we have the best defense in 30-40 years but can only manage to get one player on the SEC Defensive team in a "weak" conference? Lol bullshat!

Why isn't this thread and the other thread by Mwes about the SEC Awards getting more comments?

Does seem like a bit of injustice, doesn't it?

I honestly think all the Blue team should have won. The twins D has been overlooked and Lyles has been solid. Hell At least three on the white team could be on this list...

Karlito might have something to say about this oversight...who needs a chip on your shoulder when you need an imaginary friend? Towns is an enforcer and will only get more recognition once the tourney starts.

Thornton wasn't even the leading shot blocker on our team. That honor belongs to Maten. They must have accounted for other things as well?
