down to 2 possibly. Vandy and Ole Miss are in the Supers, LSU getting thumped 9-2 as I type this. Bama, Miss. State eliminated today. Who would have thunk it !

Seven of the ten lost in the last game of the regionals. Only Florida (the highest seed of the whole bunch) lost two straight. But still, a very disappointing tournament for the SEC.

Very unlikely that this would have happened. the naysayers will point this out next season, and we may only get 8 or so in. That would still be the most of any conference.

Very poor showing, but this was one year where no team was really dominant. Every team was able to beat up on the others until Florida kind of stuck its head out front. It was a strange year, even the rankings didn't think Florida was that great as they didn't have them in the top 5 despite being on top of the SEC. So, it isn't overly surprising that we have not had much success in the tournament.
