Is the Louisville location worth one less day? Given a likely prime time game on Saturday, you will probably end up playing 5 games in essentially less than 8 days. Obviously UK is 99.9% bound for the Louisville location, but would you rather be in say, Columbus, OH, and get to play Friday/Sunday?

No.

Our second round game will be a cakewalk.

I do however wish the SEC would start a day earlier and end on Saturday. Makes too much sense.

I agree. I think all the major conferences should consider this.

But we really need to be in Louisville. Makes it easy for fans to get to see this team

Plus UK fans have bought up the tickets to the Yum Center already. We're going to have 90%+ of the crowd just like we did in 2012. Home game for sure.

I never want to go back to Columbus......unless it is a site we know all season we are almost certainly going for sure anyways so that fans can plan and buy up the tickets.

Remember 2004 there? We had a decent crowd but it was actually a road game for us because of all the neutral Ohio State jack wipes that were pulling for UAB.

For years people have complained about UNC and Duke getting to stay in their state for the opening round games.

The best part of having the YUM center here is now UK gets to do this at times.

I do not believe the lack of a day is going to have a major effect TBH.

And in 2012 when UK was at the YUM, it was a sea of blue and flat out awesome. Plus as mentioned, most UK fans already bought tickets for the games in Louisville.
