Right now MSU leading Florida 3-0 in the bottom of the 6th. A loss today puts Florida in a win or go home game against red hot Arkansas.

My guess is UK throws Thompson tomorrow if it gets by South Carolina today. Interested to see how the bullpen will be handled today. Gotta hope for a deep start by Lewis and then turn it over to someone, maybe Salow? Whoever it is probably won't be available tomorrow (unless it's just an inning or two) but ideally you'd want them back by Sunday.
I think they'll try to save Logue for the SEC championship if possible. If not him it'll have to be Schaenzer.

Are you surprised that Lewis is going today instead of Thompson ? I know Lewis had the complete game beauty against LSU on the Sunday finale in Lexington.
MSU imploded in the 8th inning against Florida, gave up 11 runs in that inning, Bulldogs used 6 pitchers, and just could not stop the bleeding.
11 runs on 6 hits...some bad pitching going on. Fla leads 11-3 despite being out hit 11-9.
I am not worried about that game yet, but we still have to possibly play three more and we only have two more pitchers left. So, today is Lewis and tomorrow, assuming we win, is Thompson. It is unlikely that we get to keep Pop and Salow in the shed long enough to let them pitch on Sunday, so I think we'd be stuck with probably having to throw Brad or Logue on Sunday, maybe a combo of both.
Cats get 1 run in the top of the 1st, but really felt we might could have gotten more, or maybe not !
I was beginning to wonder if we had any fans in Hoover, but as that inning ended they showed a good group all sitting in the shade well away from the dugout.
LSU is the best fan base in SEC baseball. Mississippi State and Arkansas close behind.
