Lucas Oil Stadium is a palace and Indianapolis puts on a big event better than any other town in the country except maybe New York City.Originally posted by -LEK-:
Lucas Oil kinda blah
I am the same way man. Have to watch all tourney games by myself in my basement.Originally posted by ThroughBlue:
There is no way I could watch a Tourny game anywhere but by myself. It sucks but it's the sad truth
I'll gladly take the 2 games of UK vs Kansas and Duke vs. Arizona (hypothetical) vs. watching a bunch of SEC teams play each other.Originally posted by FtWorthCat:
Been to both multiple times, and the SEC Tournament is more fun. You get to see more basketball games. You have more in common with people you meet there, and it's not the end of the world if you get beat. Plus it's far cheaper to attend.
I think Lucas Oil Stadium is pretty awesome, but to each their own. I'll be going to the Final Four this year. To me, it's a no brainer.Originally posted by -LEK-:
Nashville is party, Lucas Oil kinda blah, but it's FF!

While I think its obvious Final 4, there are some points:Originally posted by ORCAT:

Yeah, you pretty much nailed it by my experience. There were some nice events surrounding the FF in Arlington last year, like the Springsteen concert. But for overall fun, the SEC Tourney is better. Plus, it's much, much easier to get decent seats at the SEC Tourney. I doubt I will go to another FF that isn't within a 3-4 hour drive from where I live.Originally posted by -LEK-:

-I know we are going undefeated, *cough cough*, but as my colleague Dr. FunKYcat75 pointed out, when 2010 happened, anything is possible.
-SEC tourney is more of a "good" time. I.e. all weekend long drinking with UK fans, eating, watching tons of games, partying late, getting up early, its all weekend, pretty chill atmosphere with not a lot of stress. Nashville so close, might as well behome games.
-Final 4- stress city (I will be very nervous, and any UK fan that says they wont, well...), opposing fans, bad seats. However, get to watch two really good games, then come back monday for final.
