After a ragged, sloppy and whistle-filled half, DePaul leads NU 33-28. NU shot 37% with 13 fouls and 13 turnovers (talk about unlucky numbers). All in all, they're lucky to be trailing by just five.

Lindsey has 11 and Law 9. BMac is 1-7 from the floor and Law and Pardon have four fouls each.

NU's defense doesn't look like it has in the last several games. DePaul is shooting 50 percent and are getting to the basket -- they have 14 points in the paint. The Demons' athleticism seems to be bothering NU -- that and referees that are calling fouls if you breathe on your opponent too hard.

They're in a dogfight. We'll see how they respond in the second half.

Pretty reckless to allow Law and Pardon to pick up their fourth fouls, don't you think?

These refs are horrible. I mean they're making bad calls both ways but my purple sunglasses are sure showing a lot going the wrong way for them.

College basketball is almost unwatchable. Foul every possession. NBA game is far more enjoyable.

That's a great win considering how badly McIntosh played, Law's injury, etc. Would have been a very tough loss to overcome in terms of season goals. Good job gutting it out!

What game are you watching? The one I'm watching still has 4.4 seconds and DePaul is down by 2 with the ball.

..typical NU end of half/game possession. McIntosh dribbling into nothing but a turnover. Bad.

he landed wrong, I guess, on a drive and seemed to do something to his ankle. some thought there was a foul but it looked like all ball which sort of disrupted his balance.
