Second-half thread for Maryland vs. NU

Well, NU’s game plan is clear: bombs away. They hit 8-19 3s in the first half and hold a 28-26 lead at the break.

Buie, Nance and Audige are a combined 7-10 on 3s, while Kopp is 0-5. Go
figure. It was a strange first half: no foul shots and NU has a 6-1 edge in offensive rebounds. It looked like a blowout early, too, as it took NU 4:41 to score a point.

I am surprised at MD's willingness to double Young and play Greer so tight. Their focus have opened up a lot of our offense tonight.

He’s 0-11 tonight. He’s played mediocre defense. He’s made many poor decisions with the basketball. All the while we have a guy like Ty Berry on the bench who can shoot and hustle on D.
