Second-half thread for NU vs. Michigan

Well, stop me if you've heard this before, but NU got off to another slow start offensively. They hit just one of their first seven shots from the floor and had just 3 points at the 15-minute mark. But Jordan Ash came off the bench to help spark a 6-0 run and the Cats have hung tough since and trail 32-29 at the half.

NU is still shooting just 36 percent overall. A 3-point shooting clinic this isn't: the teams are a combined 8 for 27.

Scottie Lindsey and Bryant McIntosh are carrying NU with a combined 21 points. Law, on the other hand, is 1-7 with just 2 points. It's going to be tough to win without all of the Big Three scoring.

Mo Wagner has been a handful inside and out, especially with Dererk Pardon limited by foul trouble. He has 11 points at the break after scoring just 8 in the last matchup in Ann Arbor, when he was the one in foul trouble.

Lou, we are getting the open looks,but not knocking them down! Gaines was 0-2 as well as Falzon, 0-2 from three point land! Let Ash hit a couple threes!

Gaines shot needs work. Falzon has shown he can shoot a lot better, so let him shoot a few more. Something good has to happen for NU.
