Well, NU is down 43-29 at the break. Michigan is shooting a blazing 53% from beyond the arc and already has nine of them. That’s tough to beat that.

But that said, this is the worst NU’s offense has looked. Nance scored the first eight points for the Cats, but after that they’ve looked disjointed and have really struggled to score. Michigan is really pushing its defense out against them and taking away the 3. They’ve got some athletes.

They have to run the offense through Nance and try to get Kopp more shots. Those two are a combined 8-12 for 17 points.

They’ve got a lot of work to do if they want to get back in this one.

We were under the illusion we were a good offense. Posting triple digits against doormats, seeing Buie go off for 30, Audige for 17 in one 1/2. No way that is reliable.

Our offense is better than last year. But still far from above B1G average.

Our defense is competent, as it was last year. Unless we insist one more season on spending too much time in zone.

Now we’re seeing what the elite in the BIG look like. Though we battled Iowa for a while, we just don’t have nearly the horses to play with Michigan.

Just being dominated. Taking shots with 4 michigan guys waiting for a rebound and NU not contesting

Definitely a reality check. These guys now know they can win on any given night if they bring it. This is what happens when they don’t.

NU was exposed tonight but in fairness, if Michigan plays like this every night, I don’t see anybody beating them. Tremendous intensity and skill on both ends of the floor.

At this point it’s just painful to watch. Maybe Beran gets some confidence out of this as he got some buckets

UM looks incredible. With the way Howard recruits (and coaches), they could become dominant again on a national level.

Perfect storm for them tonight, they couldn't miss and we missed on many open looks. But give them credit, they are a very good team.
