Man, that was a brutal half of basketball. After missing their first eight shots, shooting 26% and scoring just eight baskets, NU is lucky to be trailing 27-20 at the half.

The ironic thing is, we'll probably win after that atrocious and brutal first half. Minnesota is not good and someone will get hot for us in the second half.

I agree and just fear Carr will be the one getting hot.

Maybe it’s that big empty building throwing our guys off their game. Used to those big crowds at the WR they are

Has any player ever missed more shots from within three feet of the basket than Young

We're actually doing a nice job on Carr, but just aren't executing on offense ourselves.

Was Audige trying to get T’ed on the dunk? Got away with that brain fart 🧠 💨

28 turnovers so far in this one. Some seriously bad ball going down in Indy

It doesn’t matter for whatever team wins this, cause they get to move on, but this is a horrendously played game on both sides.

They are killing us on the glass. And they have no one as tall as three of our front line players.

Switching to zone. Maybe trying to give a chance for MN get out of their turnover prone offensive funk. We’re nice guys.

That drive by Greer is why he doesn't and shouldn't get more of Buie's minutes.

And it’s with the Young/Nance combo on the floor that we tie for the first time since 0-0.

Not a good sequence by Nance there. Misses the 3 footer and then fouls Carr 40 feet from the basket to send him to the line. I hope these free throws don't get Carr going.

I'd have to watch it again to see what Nance actual "did" to get called for the foul. The announcers called it a "ticky-tack" foul. Big Ten games are physical and I'm not sure I would actually want Nance to do anything differently, depending on what he actually did.

Every now and then, the refs just suck.

Huge FT miss by Carr. He is clearly frustrated.

This game entitles any fan who watches tip off to end to the Croix de Northwestern. One of the most frustrating games any NU team has ever played.

We’ve gotten lots of good Pitino faces today. Sadly, it appears that we’ll never see weird Pitino faces again.

What a pathetic display of basketball fundamentals by both teams. Even the most basic skill like good free throw shooting is beyond the capacity of these teams. Just terrible basketball.

Kopp misses a wide open three with his feet set. Now Carr is taking advantage of Audige with 4 fouls.
