Well, Vic Law in February looks a lot like Vic Law in January, so far, unfortunately. No. 4 is still struggling, hitting 1 of 7 shots in the first half for 4 points. Pardon, a 59.3% shooter on the year, is 2 for 6 for 5 points.
NU is such an easy team to defend, especially when the opponent has a big man who can neutralize Pardon. They just pass and set picks around the perimeter and have to work so hard to get even a contested shot. It's tough to watch.
On the plus side, Gaines is having another strong game. He's hell bent on getting to the rim and leads the Cats with 6 points. Turner, who didn't start in favor of Falzon, came off the bench to add 6.
