Awful loss. But when you haven't recruited a serviceable guard in five years, have a four star center on the bench that you haven't developed enough to play even two minutes in his third year in the program and can't devise any semblance of an offense, this is what you get.

This is probably a pretty accurate statement for where we find ourselves.

PSU wanted this game more than we did. They outscrapped us all night after falling behind 10-2.

Hard to fathom? I remember a number of NU teams worse than this.
If you read my comment, it said next year.. I’m well aware teams have been worse in the past. 2016 changed the expectations regarding this program. This team is bad, my guess is they end up with 4-6 conference wins. Is next years team really going to be much worse? Hard to say.
