I agree with you and not all the negative posters. I already knew we didnt have a chance so I was watching this game and thinking any improvement would be progress and success.

I think getting 2 nice TD drives was certain progress, plus JONs defense held them under 500 yards.

I dont think we beat illinois but its a rivalry so who knows.

Imo, if we can lose by under 2 scores (15pts or less) then we are still showing improvement. Toss in the lehigh transfer and ball st transfer next year that coral claims is a stud and we can continue closing the gap, provided we have a kicker.

Not trying to sound ridiculous but avg over 3 yards a rush was also an interesting improvement. At least we managed some first downs.
