If we can't pick up a 1st down here, some rudimentary math tells me we'd have to punt it back with around 0:25 left...so let's just make sure we get a first down

Outstanding pass D on that last series! And finally able to convert a rushing 1st down to ice the game. Good finish for both O and D when the momentum was against us for much of the 4th.
It’s been a long time since we started 4-0 in conference play. Chiefly because we don’t play the Illini until the final game.
So once again, according to the big ten hacks we didn’t win it , Purdue lost it! Just like the mainstream media!
