Meyers probably would have been fine to pitch last week were it not for the bizarre scheduling issues, so I don't like that excuse at all. Clearly the Big 10 was not that good this year, not sure how we got 5 bids.

And what's the excuse for the offense now? Schreiber's not hurt so we can't blame that. Maybe Erstad just can't teach hitting, as we learned in 2011, and every year since Bolt left. . .
