Just for kicks, I checked out the cheapest lower-level sideline seats on StubHub for each of the home games. These are subject to change, of course:

Illinois – 89

Can anyone use three tickets to the game on Friday? I can't make it. It will be my first miss in a long time

I'm really concerned about the neutral-site type crowds we'll be facing in almost every Big Ten game.

I understand where you're coming from, JournCat, but you might consider this isn't exactly a new phenomenon for NU games.

Now the idea of that type of atmosphere with many games that matter ... that's something new.

I look at it this way: We have been a good team on the road and at neutral sites the past couple seasons. We'll adapt to AllState. Maybe we drop a game that we might have won with a strong home crowd... But we're a good team. We should make the Tournament.

And when we get to post-season play at neutral sites--both the Big Ten Tournament and the NCAA Tournament, we should be primed to win on neutral floors.

It will be interesting to see how the crowds really are.
For a lot of people it’s easier to get to All State than Evanston.
Although will assume it will hurt student attendance.

Valpo at $8 is a steal!

I’m personally so excited for this one year in Rosemont. Just a lot easier for me to get to than Evanston on weeknights.

Attendance wise, the few DePaul games I went to last year ranged from 2k butts in the seats to 6k (many ‘Nova fans). Can’t imagine we’ll do any worse. No pressure there.

DePaul isn't our measuring stick, Ashley.

Do you see a lot of publicity where you live? Seems to me people in areas like your's are the demographic NU needs to be educating about this one season opportunity.
