UK facing a tough team (Wisconsin) or the other #1 seeds receiving a lesser opponent?

I just want it to be fair. The seeding process is 100% unfair to one region in particular year after year. UK will be in that region once again this season.

obviously everything is premature bitching until next Sunday, but if you were to believe the current Bracketology UK the overwhelming #1 seed would have the toughest #2 seed(Wisconsin) #3 seed(Notre Dame) #4 seed(Baylor) and arguably the toughest #5 seed (UNC). The fact that Northern Iowa wouldn't be our 4 seed makes literally zero sense, not only would they be the worst 4 seed but how can you be more midwest than Iowa. In fact if you look at the 4's overall none make sense for geography. N. Iowa should be Midwest, UL east, Utah West, Baylor South, and literally none of them are in those regions.

Spot-on. Baylor should be in the south, based on the geography notion.

The whole damn thing is an arbitrary mess wherein the committee can justify any decision. The sad part is that Kentucky - and Wisconsin - are going to get screwed whereas lesser teams like Gonzaga and Villanova will make out like bandits.
