Seems crazy but WVU Football camp starts in a couple of weeks.

This summer if flying by. It seems like we were in a bowl game just a few months back. Does anyone know what the schedule is for fall camp to start?
It would not surprise me to see WVU pick up a couple more recruits in the next couple of weeks. I think we have some pretty good recruits coming in July 23 and maybe some other unofficial 2nd or 3rd visits. It will be interesting early in fall camp to see how the secondary and RB newbies shake out. We added a lot of bodies since the spring game and we will start hearing about who is going to not be red shirted. It would not surprise me at all if we see 5+ freshman play this season mainly because we had so many players on campus early. We also added a lot of Juco and transfer players as well. Who is ready to step up, we will find out shortly.

Hopefully some of the recruits you are talking about decide to commit on those visits because once football practice kicks off, seems to be a real drop off on the number of kids deciding. (busy with hs football practice, school, etc.) Would like to see the numbers increase a little before the season starts.

If there are that many freshman playing/starting, at least this time it will be because they beat out a veteran with their talent and not because there isn't anyone else worth playing. Some nice talent coming in as freshmen and juco.

It's funny the things that stick with you in life. I watching the Home Run Derby and thought,"All Star Break, two more weeks until two-a-days." That first week of practice is the only time you'll see an in-shape, 16 year old kid walking like a beat up 60 year old man.

Agreed . . . the DBs and LBs will determine the success of the 2016 campaign. Especially the corners/safeties given they will determine how often we can blitz on D.
