MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Feb. 7, 2020) – Single-game tickets for the West Virginia University baseball team’s February and March home games are on sale now.
Fans can purchase tickets at WVUGAME.com, by calling 1-800-WVU-GAME or visiting the Mountaineer Ticket Office at the WVU Coliseum.
Single-game tickets are $7 behind home plate and $6 along the dugouts in advance of game day, and $8 behind the plate and $7 along the dugouts on the day of the game. Groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets for $5 (home plate)/$3 (dugouts), while youth and senior tickets are $3 on game day.
The Mountaineers are set to play five home games at Monongalia County Ballpark in the season’s opening two months, including the earliest home opener in program history, which is set for Tuesday, Feb. 18, against Canisius. WVU also will host Liberty on Wednesday, March 11, before a three-game series against George Mason from March 27-29.
Information on single-game tickets for April and May home games will be announced at a later date.
Additionally, season tickets and mini-packages for the 2020 season remain on sale. Season tickets are for all 24 home games, while mini-packages range between four and 10 games.
For the 24-game home schedule, season tickets are $150 each for reserved seating in the five sections behind home plate and $120 for reserved seating along the first- and third-base dugouts. WVU faculty and staff members can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $120 behind home plate and $96 along the dugouts. Of note, discounted tickets for faculty and staff can only be purchased in person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office.
Three different mini-packages also are available for fans this season: The Flex mini-pack (10 tickets to any combination of games for $50), the Mountaineer mini-pack (all Saturday Big 12 games, plus the Saturday College of Charleston and Pitt games for as low as $30) and the Friday Night Lights mini-pack (all four Friday Big 12 games for as low as $20). The strong support of Mountaineer Nation was certainly felt throughout the 2019 season in Morgantown, as the team’s single-game attendance record was broken multiple times, highlighted by a crowd of 4,355 that watched the NCAA Regional in Morgantown on May 31. Entering their sixth year at Monongalia County Ballpark, the Mountaineers hold an impressive 75-43 record at home, including an 18-7 mark last season.
WVU officially opens the 2020 campaign with a three-game series at Jacksonville, from Feb. 14-16, at the Dolphins' John Sessions Stadium.
