Wisconsin got jobbed with a #8 seed up against Virginia Tech.

If they win, they face #1 overall Villanova in the round of 32.

No respect for the Big Ten so far...

Bull crap. B10 I think was best conference top to bottom just only one marquis team in Purdue but even Rutgers was tough as nails

Purdue in as a #4 in the Midwest, Michigan State as a #9 with their 19-14 record.

A bit more respect there.

Purdue a 4 - I guess the disrespect was just for UW not the big ten
I think you're right. Michigan also in the Midwest as a #7 after winning the BTT, not too shabby.

Based on the selections so far I'd guess we end as an 8 or a 9 seed. If we end up as one of the 11 seed play-in games I'll go apoplectic.

If Sparty is a 9, we should be higher. It we won't be. The BT is getting the shaft.

Hoping we are an 8/9 out West in SLC. The Zags are our best matchup round 2 if we can win

That's about right. Purdue was about #15 in the land, which means a #4 seed. That was by far the strongest B1G team.
But Wisconsin was an 8 seed, were ranked 24th, went further in the BTT and blew us out of the water. Seems like maybe just Wisconsin was not very highly respected I assume due to the way they finished the season.

Wisconsin jobbed. Minnesota over valued. Dayton laughable. Sparty - Really? Thank God they kept Syracuse out.

Iowa as a #1 seed in the NIT, along with Syracuse and Illinois State.

So glad we're in the main event.

See complete seed list elsewhere:
#16 Purdue
#18 Minny
#23 Mary
#27 Mich
#29 Wisky
#32 NU
#35 MSU
It's a weird ranking, to say the least.
PU seems about right.
Minny and Mary WAY over-appreciated!!!
Wisky unexplicably UNDER-appreciated.
Mary should have dropped out of the top 25 after their exit from the BTT (they were barely in per AP, and not in per coaches). Minny was only briefly in the top 25, as #24 back in January. A mystery that for the committee they are top 20.
Wisky definitely UNDER-appreciated.

I love Dayton for personal reasons. But you cannot put any A-10 team in the same conversation with Big Ten tested Michigan and Wisconsin. Really makes a mockery of this whole body of work analysis. Flyers are at best a 6-10 team playing a Big regular season schedule.

That is a ridiculous statement, in my opinion.
