You're absolutely right there. We've nearly got more wins against top 50 teams (13) than Notre Dame has played in the top 100 (16). So no, we're no Notre Dame.

^This. Must see game if you watch anyone other than Duke. 2 & 3 seeds in our Region. I think Iowa State could have easily been a 2 seed, have seen them play and you must beat them for 40 minutes! They never give up.
I think some of the reporters give Gonzaga the edge in this Region! I can assure you if they meet, they will have their hands full with Iowa State.
Guess what, they will also have their hands full with the No.1 seed, whoever that may be!!!

Yes....Duke is terrified of ISU's academic prowess. Hopefully one day, Duke can achieve the academic excellence that ISU has managed to achieve.

The fact that Iowa St lost 2 South Carolina and Texas tech are reason enough for them to keep those mouths shut! Honestly I think this is the most confident looking at a bracket I can remember.. If we play like we did for that win streak we will hang banners. Let's go duke! Also I'd be interested to know what the guys and K think since the one poster said he was pleased with the bracket
The thing about Iowa St. is that they're dangerous, but they're also very up and down. I could see them making the final four, and i could see them losing in the round of 32. They are wildly inconsistent. i would love the opportunity to play them or the zags though
I just find it funny that UNC (University of No Classes) will play Harvard in the first round haha
Wow, this is neat, we're getting trash talked from schools just because they are in our bracket now. Not next game , just in the bracket, LOL! Thank God Iowa State taught Brey how to play basketball. I guess he didn't use Iowa States technique when they played at Cameron, they musta switched over just exclusively for the ACC tournament.
Midwest looks pretty solid to me. They have the weakest #2 in Kansas, I will admit that. But Notre Dame easily could have been a 2, Maryland could have been a 3, and Wichita State is WAY better than a 7 seed. Too bad Wichita State isn't a 5 seed, I'm sure they'd love to get some revenge on Kentucky in the Sweet 16.
As far as our bracket goes, it looks very manageable. I'm not even sure how Georgetown even got a 4 seed - they're clearly overseeded; Utah has great size and defense, they could certainly challenge us in the S16. And then an E8 matchup versus Gonzaga or Iowa State. Should be fun, I like our chances.
