Plenty to discuss. Duke and non Duke related.

The bubble talk never intrigues me as much as the top line stuff. Unfortunately they discuss the 7 bubble teams alllll daayyyy

Duke related- I prefer to be at a different site then the heels. What do most think, uva and unc will be in charlotte?

Lunardi has us in the Midwest as a #2...not bad but he has the #3 as Mich St..can we not play them again please!...seems like we get in their side of the draw way too much ( although we usual win that game!) Tennesee or Auburn would be a good #3 to get

If we don't cut down on the turnovers it really don't matter who the #3 seed in our region is IMO

One team is 29-4, the other is 25-10. Neither won their tournament, and they played earlier in season. That game wasn't close at all. The team 29-4 won.
The 25-10 team is projected as the 2 seed, the 29-4 a 3 seed. Makes sense to me.
If y'all need me, I'm going over to Duke denvers house and having a drink, or 7.

If true, then the NCAA is rigged. I’m hearing that Duke is going to have Arizona, Nova, and MSU all in one bracket, while UNc has Tennessee, Xavier, and Gonzaga as their top seeds.

How is UNC ahead of us? Doesn’t make sense to me. They have 3 more losses than us, including 2 more in conference play. Idc about strength of schedule or their “Quad 1” wins. They have 10 losses!! If Joey Brackets is right and we play MSU as the lower seed in the midwest, thats very similar to playing SC in SC last year.

The eye test is apparently the last thing he looks at when seeding. Hopefully the committee has differing opinions.

I agree. The Holes have lost 10, I repeat 10 games. They finished behind Duke and didn't win the tournament. By this logic, we should have been a 1 seed last season.
They have Arizona as a 4? I want what these hacks are smoking.

The bracket projections this year are the most messed up I have ever seen. A 10-loss UNC as a 2 makes ZERO sense.
What makes even less sense...a 4 loss MSU being a 3-seed IN THE SAME BRACKET AS THE TOP 2-SEED, us.

Duke could play the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, OKC Thunder, Houston Rockets, and the Globetrotters (where traveling is allowed but only by the Globetrotters) to win a national championship and UNC fans would still complain that Duke got a cakewalk to the title. They don’t know any better.

Michigan State doesn't scare me at all. We on them. Coach K has mind control over Izzo. Michigan State could be playing great but when they play us we bring them back down to Earth. It never fails

Yea I’m not too worried about Michigan State, but Michigan State’s only victory against Coach K was in the sweet 16 against Duke in 2005.

Yea not too worried about UK either. Beat an Alabama team that had to fight to come back in both their games, and Wenyen just happened to go 7-7 from three. UK shot something like 81% in the second half. Highly highly doubt a performance like that would happen six games in a row especially against tougher competition with better defenses than Alabama

That's one team I underestimate. I have zero respect for them when it comes to us playing them. A few times we had no business beating them and still beat them by double digits. Izzo gets star struck

I agree. I respect Izzo as a coach, but your right. He generally wets the bed when playing Duke!

Ok I change my mind. I kind of like Tennessee. They have those two tough physical guys that can post up and shoot the three (Williams and Showfield)

Izzos bad teams always overperform, but his good teams generally underperform.

Doesnt the committee usually try to avoid rematches though? Lunardi has lost his mind.

Yes Tennessee is a team I would not want to see! Rick Barnes has got them playing at a high level. Texas is stupid for ever getting rid of him

No way Lunardi is spot on with everything but he usually has some sort of idea when it comes to the higher seeds and what region they will be in. Having said that if Duke is going to be in the East with Nova Mich St. and West Virginia like I have seen thats a tough draw. Being in the East is nice but having Nova as a 1, Mich St. as a 3 and WV a 4 is a loaded top 4.

They must love the rpi. How is a ten loss team that didn’t win their tourney a 2 seed? If that’s the case duke should have been a one seed last year no question.

My understanding is they are going to release the bracket all at one time for the first time.

No. They are listing all 68 teams at 6:00 EST. This is to avoid Twitter spoiling the teams that are in/out. Big controversy last year.
Once all 68 are unveilved, they will then go region by region showing the bracket as usual.
